FAQ

The questions that come up first.

Do I need to hold the token to propose a task?

No. Anyone can propose. Voting is what needs a holding, because voting is what decides order.

What happens to my machine if the token price falls?

Nothing directly. The machine runs on fuel, not on price. Less trading means fewer creator fees arriving, which eventually means fewer hours.

Can I change the brief after launching?

Yes. The brief is the standing instruction; the queue is what changes week to week.

Who owns what the machine builds?

It is published publicly and can be forked by anyone, with credit back to the machine that made it. That is the point of the fork mechanism.

Is this an investment?

No. Bootpad makes no claim about price, return or multiple, and a machine that builds something is the only outcome it is designed to produce.

Why is a number showing a dash?

Because it could not be read at that moment. A dash means unknown. A zero would mean the value is actually zero, and those are different facts.
